Don Harrison studied anatomy, physiology and pharmacy at
Manchester University where he obtained a degree in pharmacy
and later became registered as a Pharmaceutical Chemist and
Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
He also holds an honours degree in psychology and is a Graduate
Member of the British Psychological Society, and Associate of the
London and Counties Society of Physiologists. In the 1950s
he served his apprenticeship working at the bench in an
old-established homoeopathic pharmacy, later owning a
pharmacy group with a busy homoeopathic department.
His interest in the diagnosis and treatment of food and chemical
allergy developed as a result of his own allergy based illness
during the 1970s, and he now works as a psychotherapist, and
clinical ecologist at his clinic, Ffynnonwen Natural Therapy Centre
in Mid-Wales which incorporates a registered Homoeopathic
Pharmacy. He is author of “The Pocket Book of Homoeopathy”
and founder of the Institute.
SHEILA HARRISON S.R.N
His wife Sheila is a Nursing sister and practising
homoeopath, her early work with desensitisation laying the
foundation for the development of the remedies in their
present form. She has a special interest in the treatment of
children by homoeopathy and is author of the books
“Help Your Child with Homoeopathy” and “Homoeopathy and

Karen has over 18 years practical experience working with a wide range of difficulties and supporting change in peoples lives.
In 2001, she qualified as a Practitioner of Natural Nutrition, going on to then gain a further diploma with distinction in Child Nutrition and a diploma with credit in Allergy and Environmental and Therapy from the British Institute of Allergy and Environmental Therapy.
Integrating these techniques into her practice she then carried out training in Kinesiology, achieved a diploma in Biochemical Tissue Salts and completed Advanced Practitioner training in Theta Healing.
In 2008 she qualified as a counsellor and Women's Health Practitioner. Karen has written and delivered many workshops and seminars across the UK, Europe and South Africa on many healing and nutrition related topics . Her work is her passion, she currently runs a busy practice in Monmouth.
Karen is currently teaching the practical weekends of the Diploma in Allergy and Environmental Therapy in the Garron Centre, Llangarron and modules should be sent to her for marking.
